Camp Cranbrook makes finding the perfect summer program for your child easy. With nearly two dozen camps and summer programs from which to choose, the summer experience at Cranbrook offers something for nearly every age and interest including:
Day Programs: Athletics, Arts, Authors, Music, Recreation, Science and Theater camps
Boarding Programs: Summer Art Institute
All camps are held on Cranbrook’s 319-acre National Historic Landmark campus – the perfect place to spend a summer day. And most camps offer fore and aft child care options – ideal for busy parents like you.

Athletics:
All Sports Skills Camp
Ages 5-12
Basic skills training for soccer, basketball, flag football, swimming, lacrosse and more.
Baseball Skills Camp
Ages 6-12
Instruction in hitting, pitching, throwing, catching, baserunning and sportsmanship.
Conditioning Camp
Grades 8-12
Techniques and strategies for improving agility, strength and speed for a variety of sports.
Outdoor Recreational Camps:
Brookside Day Camp
Ages 5 and 6
Traditional outdoor recreational day camp offering arts and crafts, games, activities and more.
Cranbrook Day Camp for Boys & Kingswood Day Camp for Girls
Ages 7-13
Traditional outdoor recreational day camp offering archery, canoeing, tennis, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, soccer, theater, dance and more.
Fine and Performing Arts:
Summer Art Institute
Ages 13-18
Three-week boarding programs available
Offering a selection of 21 classes in areas such as fashion design, graphic design, portfolio development, architecture, photography, cartooning and more for students serious about art.
Summer Art Studio
Ages 7-12 and 13-16
Learn basic art forms including drawing, composition, painting and sculpture.
Summer Jazz Ensemble
Grades 6-10
Small group instruction in improvisation and jazz band literature from accomplished professional jazz musicians.
Theatre School
Ages 8-19
Classic theatre skills such as acting, lighting, dance, voice, costuming, set design and other stage craft.
Young Authors Camp
Ages 8-14
Explore language, meter, rhythm and rhyme, then create books of fiction and poetry.
Science and Nature:
TECHNO-botics Robotics Camp
Grades 5 through 9
Working with various robotics software, campers
will design, build, and program autonomous robots to explore challenges
that are only as limited as a camper's imagination!
