Guided and self-guided tours are a wonderful way to get to know Cranbrook House and the 40 acres of breathtaking gardens that surround it. As the oldest manor home in southeastern Michigan, Cranbrook House offers a distinctive glimpse into a time when décor and artistry merged. The surrounding gardens, tended by hundreds of volunteers throughout the year, are filled with colorful, scented blooms and ornate greenery, side by side with exquisite fountains and sculpture.

Cranbrook House Tours
Take a walk into history with this guided tour of ten first-floor rooms. See centuries-old tapestries, hand-carved woodworking, English Arts and Crafts-style antiques and more with this insightful and informed look at the home of Cranbrook’s founders George and Ellen Booth. Tour lasts approximately 75 minutes. Guided Tours: Important Notice ~ Cranbrook House Tours Friday, July 3rd only at 11am and Sunday July 5th only at 1pm! Sundays at Cranbrook June 21 through Oct. 25, 2009 ~ Please Note: July 5th there will only be a tour at 1pm. Tours begin at 1 and 3 p.m. October Tours only at 1pm. Fee: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students. Includes garden visit. Thursdays at Cranbrook June 18 through Oct. 29, 2009 Tours begin at 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Fee: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students. Includes garden visit. Tea: 2nd Thursday of the month at 2:15pm, cost $25 Adults/$23 Senoir (includes tour and garden visit). Reservations required for tea.
